As a psychologist specializing in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), I am deeply committed to creating a safe and compassionate therapeutic space where clients can explore their emotional worlds (especially the parts of themselves/their experiences that have had to be disconnected from due to lack of safety, trauma, etc.), heal from past wounds that haunt them in the present, and cultivate meaningful, authentic connections with themselves and others.
Through the safety and emotional attunement of our relationship, I work with my clients to process and transform difficult emotions, particularly those related to early attachment experiences and relational trauma, in a way that is both gentle and empowering—and, ultimately, transformational. Dr. Wilson also periodically offers an AEDP-based, 8-week course called “Emotions Education 101”Emotions Education 101: 8 week trauma informed class [NOT psychotherapy or deep-trauma processing group] SELF PAY $600, $50 pre-class consultation required, call Kacey Wilson PhD 919-442-1125 to register.
