Professional Biography
I am a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology (FAClinP), a Past President of the American Psychological Association and a Fellow of both the American Psychological Association and the Society for Personality Assessment. Currently, I serve as a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychology at UNC-CH and have held faculty positions at the Ohio State University School of Medicine and at Wright State University where I was founding Dean of Ohio’s first School of Professional Psychology. I was the 1994 recipient of the American Psychological Foundation award for distinguished contributions to the profession. My books include “The Change Equation: Capitalizing on Diversity for Effective Organizational Change,” “Abnormal Psychology,” and “Patients View Their Psychotherapy.” Now serving as Executive Director of HRC's organizational division, The Consulting Group.
