Michael Ross, PhD, CCAS

Professional Biography

Michael S. Ross has an MA in Industrial Psychology and a PhD in Clinical Psychology. He has experience in Employee Assistance Programs and in organizational training and development. Dr. Ross developed and directed the Drug and Alcohol Treatment Program and the Eating Disorders Program at the Navy Drug Rehabilitation Center in San Diego. Dr. Ross also developed a nationally recognized inpatient cocaine treatment program for a California hospital. Dr. Ross specializes in adolescent treatment, addiction treatment, and couples counseling/therapy in his HRC outpatient practice. (Dr. Ross is a Certified Clinical Addictions Specialist and is a board member and treasurer for the NC Substance Abuse Professional Certification Board). His areas of treatment specialty include alcohol and substance abuse; brief psychotherapy; individual, group, marital, and family therapy; psychological testing; adolescent therapy; cognitive therapy; organizational development consultation and training.
