Professional Biography

Dr. Koszalka has been in private practice since 1976. She is a general practice psychologist with extensive experience in treating adolescents, families, and couples. Dr. Koszalka also has a special interest in consultation and organizational development to build effective teams and organizations, develop leadership capabilities, and manage change successfully. She also treats women with a history of abuse or major disruption in their family of origin. Other areas of interest and experience include evaluation of learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders and consultation with parents and educators in meeting the needs of learning disabled adolescents and ADHD children. Dr. Koszalka's areas of treatment specialty include organizational development; executive coaching and leadership development; change management; individual, marital, and family therapy (NC Board Certified); child/adolescent therapy; adult children of alcoholics; adults abused as children; psychological testing of children with school, adjustment, and learning problems.
