Professional Biography

Dr. Feeling trained as a health and rehabilitation psychologist and has experience working with a variety of concerns including: adjustment to disability, adjustment to chronic illness, managing chronic health conditions, managing chronic pain, tinnitus and depression/anxiety.

Personal Statement

Dr. Feeling received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Health Psychology from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She has experience working with adults of diverse backgrounds in inpatient, outpatient, community and VA health settings. She has specific interest and expertise in rehabilitation psychology and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at The Ohio State University Dodd Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital working with patients and families of individuals with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, cancer and other health conditions.

Dr. Feeling uses a collaborative approach with patients to identify and utilize the appropriate evidence-based interventions to meet the patient’s goals. She has specific experience and training in cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, brief health-focused interventions and motivational interviewing.
