Professional Biography
Dr. DiMeo is a North Carolina licensed psychologist who sees individual adults. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, relationship issues and life/career transitions.
Personal Statement
Prior to joining HRC, Dr. DiMeo spent over 20 years working in a variety of outpatient, inpatient, community-based and private practice settings. He received his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Califonia School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. DiMeo’s clinical approach incorporates a variety of cognitive behavioral, solution-focused and psychodynamic interventions. His therapy is designed to identify areas of beneficial adaptive change, develop strengths and resilience and foster accountability and self-confidence. This often results in sustainable growth and enhanced emotional clarity.
